Frequently asked questions
Clear answers on how independent medical concierge works, what it costs, and how we protect your privacy.
About the service
What is a medical concierge?
An independent service that researches, vets and matches you with the right specialist, clinic or programme for your case. 5 Delphi does not provide treatment; we help you choose who does.
How is this different from a concierge doctor?
A concierge doctor is a physician you pay a retainer to for direct access and treatment. A medical concierge like 5 Delphi is independent of any provider and compares options across specialties and countries.
How is it different from a GP or word-of-mouth referral?
Referrals reward relationships and convenience. We score clinicians and centres on outcomes, safety, volume, peer standing, regulatory record and patient experience, across 180+ sources.
Which conditions do you help with?
Plastic surgery and rejuvenation, cancer, complex surgery, cardiology, fertility and longevity, mental health and medical travel, among others.
Independence & fees
Do providers pay you?
No. We are paid only by clients. No referral fees, no provider commissions, confirmed in writing each year.
How much does it cost?
Indicative fees: second opinion from £4,500; provider and centre selection from £7,500; complex and cross-border case management from £15,000; ongoing retainer from £40,000 per year. Every engagement is quoted in writing first.
Is the first conversation free?
Yes. The initial brief is a confidential 30-minute call at no charge.
Process & timing
How quickly will I hear back?
Our median first response over the last twelve months was under one hour, day or night.
How long does an evidence pack take?
Typically 48 to 72 hours from receiving your brief and records.
Where do you operate?
Worldwide. Ola currently advises across London, Geneva, Monaco, New York, Dubai, Singapore, Lagos and Cape Town, and has served clients in 11 countries.
Privacy
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Personal data is held in confidence and processed under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. It is never shared with third parties without your consent.
